Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been made.
In the event of bad weather preventing a particular walk from going ahead, we will endeavour to provide an alternative by mutual agreement, alternatively a full refund will be offered.
All of our guides have been trained and assessed to highest standards of the Mountain Training Association (which is the National Governing Body in the UK). They are fully qualified within the remit of the Mountain Leader award. We take every precaution to assess, evaluate & manage the risk in the environment we take you, but participants are reminded that although we assess and manage the risks there is always still risk involved to the participant of injury or death.
We remind you that your guide has a duty of care: while you are under supervision on your walk he/she will advise you what to do. If you choose not to listen to the advice of your instructor then the duty of care has been revoked and your actions and any consequences to you or others around you will be your own actions.
If you are booking for other people, you have a duty to inform them of these terms.
You will be required to complete an emergency contact and medical details form prior to every walk.
The information on this will be stored for 2 years following the walk and then destroyed. We are registered with the ICO for the handling of personal information.
We remind you that all our walks require a degree of fitness. If you have any concerns about your fitness or a medical condition which may impact on it then please contact us to discuss. We are happy to adapt any activity if required so as to make it enjoyable for you.
